Hedging
Freely allowed on Prime Classic, with no restriction. Allowed on Flash, Solo and Duo. Not allowed on Scout, our free desk.
Expert Advisors and algorithmic trading
Allowed on Flash, Solo, Duo and Prime Classic. Not allowed on Scout.
Your EA must be your own or properly licensed to you. Copying another JPD trader's account, or running the same EA across multiple accounts to farm outcomes, falls under forbidden practices.
News trading

On Flash, Solo and Duo you may trade high-impact releases, but only the stated share of profit made in that window counts toward your target or payout. Losses in that window count in full. We would rather say that clearly than bury it.
Prime Classic and Scout are always news restricted: no position may be opened or closed within the 4-minute window around a high-impact release.
Scalping and holding positions
- Scalping: allowed, with no minimum hold time.
- Overnight positions: allowed on all desks.
- Weekend holding: allowed on all desks.
- Stop loss: not mandatory, though we recommend one.
Multiple accounts
You may run up to 3 live accounts at once, in any mix. Copying your own trades across your own JPD accounts within that limit is allowed. Creating additional accounts to exceed the limit is not.
